Having spent a little time in Japan many years ago, I totally fell in love with Japanese people. I find them graceful, humble, kind, and very hospitable people.

Japanese women are particularly beautiful and radiant.

The beautiful long black hair of my model is exquisitely complimented by the deep red of her lipstick. Her face is gently touching a patterned silk kimono sleeve as her arm (which you can't actually see in the painting) is held up beside her stunning profile.

Whilst the actual photo of the model was taken in a studio, I prefer to picture her under a cherry blossom tree, momentarily lifting her arm to brush away loose hair from her face.

Seeing how beautiful she looks in that moment, I imagine her loving partner taking a photo to remember the moment forever.
