As we cry out from the depths of our storms, we see a light that lifts us towards relief and salvation. If we hold fast to all that we hold dear, and cling to faith above all else, heaven's help is assured and our rescue close at hand.

The story that this painting was telling was not immediately revealed to me. I followed a colour scheme that was completely intuitive throughout the process. It was only after completion that the story began to unfold.
